Resisting Climate Injustice: Elevate the Fight for People and Planet

In December 2023, governments of 195 countries flocked to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), to attend the 28th Conference of Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Amid rising temperatures and intensifying climate impacts, as well as a humanitarian crisis in Palestine, COP28 was at the centre of a growing momentum among movements worldwide that are actively campaigning to put an end to the fossil fuel lifeline and deliver reparations to affected communities.
